Are you Christian or Born-Again?

You know, you can act good, be good and do good things. I mean do great things that change people's lives, sell all you have and give to the poor. Quit your job and work for free and live on the streets because you want to live your life for the good of humanity. We in the world would applaud you, however. If you are not convinced and persuaded that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins, your eternity will be void of the very Character that instilled in your mind to do good to all men. If we were really persuaded, I mean really convinced of this one truth, it undoubtedly would cause us to 1) repent of our sins, 2) tell others of your persuasion because you have been born-again.
Because of the multi-denominations and the plethora of definitions of the word Christian, most everyone wouldn't mind confessing that they follow Christian ethics and principles. But in that clump of confessions of Christianity, there are multi-facets of doctrine and yes even heresies that may or may not lead one to eternal life. I think people are getting tired of comparisons. Truth is, Jesus Himself told Nicodemus that "You must be born-again!" People can be confused as to what Christianity looks like because, people are what its about. On the other hand, The only question behind being born-again is, "How can one be born-again?"
You see, there are a lot of questions that are associated with defining Christianity. For example, "Do I have to go to church in order to be a Christian?", "Do I have to pay my tithes/offerings as a Christian", and more deeper and controversial questions, "Will I still be a Christian if I drink a little or smoke?" or even better, "Can I have sex or be gay as a Christian?". I am not going to answer those question, because the definition of Christian has a variety of differing terms. But! From the view or perspective of someone who is born-again, why would you ask those questions? You have the Spirit of God born in you, you have confessed that He has forgiven your sins, why would trample upon the grace of God to see how far you can get. Truth is, if you have to ask those questions, maybe it means....well you decide what it means! Being Born-again crucifies your identity with the world and acknowledges your relationship with the Messiah, the King of Kings, The Redeemer, The Sanctifier and The Holy One of Israel.
