OUR MINISTRIES

 

It is our purpose and mission to be a Lighthouse to the community. We encourage all of our attenders to invest their lives in the serving of one another. As of June 12th New Covenant has implemented two new Navigational plans in how we as a church will be heading into deeper waters of serving our community. We have started an Outreach Ministry heading up by Sue O'Brien. We also have intiated our Christian Education Ministry, which is being steered by Bill O'Brien.

  • BRIDGE EVENTS

  • DENOMINATIONAL MISSION PROGRAMS (GLOBAL)

  • LOVING LEWIS COUNTY MISSION TEAM

  • FOOD $EN$E

  • This team should meet monthly to develop existing programs, scrap or revamp programs that are not working well, develop vision and Christ centered plans to carry out the mission of this local body of believers

COMMUNITY DINNERS

 

One of our favorite ministries is our Community Dinners that we serve on every Wednesday from 4:30pm - 6:00pm. Please join us for the purpose of getting to know our neighbors

FOOD $EN$E

 

This ministry is a program that will help your dollars stretch. The NY State Food bank makes available food items at a low cost with no strings attached. If you eat, you qualify. Call the church and speak to Eydie for more details in signing up.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRIES:

 

  • TO BE A LIGHTHOUSE TO THE COMMUNITY BY DEVELOPING CLASSES AND/OR OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFE SKILLS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

  • LITERACY/TUTORING, COOKING CLASSES, HEALTH CLASSES

  • JOB SKILLS, WORK ETHICS (MENTORING), RESUME & JOB INTERVIEW TRAINING

  • PARENTING & CHILD DEVELOPMENT CLASSES

  • WITHIN THE CHURCH: DEVELOP DIVERSE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR ALL AGES

  • This team should meet monthly to develop existing programs, scrap or revamp programs that are not working well, develop vision and Christ centered plans to carry out the mission of this local body of believers.

Music

 

Eydie Bolin is available to teach piano, voice lessons and music reading.  Call the church for details

Need Assistance?

If you have need of assistance due to a fire, flood or other catastrophic circumstances, we may be able help. Maybe you just need someone to listen to.

​

We have affiliations with Salvation Army; Loving Lewis County;  Lewis County Food Bank; DSS and ARC.

Need help getting off addictions? We have  access to a Rehabilitation Center that could really help you in your deliverance.
